10 Best Video Games Based On Cartoons

Games Based On Cartoons

There have been many video game-based on cartoons over the years. Here are some best collections of the spectrum.

This list celebrates video games that capture the heart of comics while blaming disappointments that weren’t as good as comics. Perhaps some of these titles will evoke great memories and intense cringefest. These are the ten best video games based on good cartoons and 15 video games that aren’t.

10. Rocket Power Beach Bandits

This game was way more difficult than I imagined it would be. I initially thought Beach Bandits would be similar to its prequel Rocket Power: Team Rescue, where you participated in different skating missions.

9. Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble

Many members of the ONE37pm team are huge Looney Tunes fans, so we had to get a Bugs Bunny game on this list. Double Trouble was unique because you were operating in Bugs Bunny’s dream.

8. Kim Possible 3: Team Possible

Kim Possible is one of the best cartoons on Disney Channel, and surprisingly the game is just as great. I chose Kim Possible 3: Team Possible, the third game of Game Boy Advance.

7. Scooby-Doo! Night Of 100 Frights

Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights may not be the most challenging video game. Still, the design of aesthetics and art captured the classic Hanna Barbera cartoon. The plot is a typical Scooby-Doo episode.

6. The Simpsons: Hit & Run

Want to play Grand Theft Auto, but are you too young or a Simpsons fan? The Simpsons: Hit & Run provides an experience while parodying a famous open-world game. This entry is ranked as the best video game from one of the best-animated films of the 20th century.

5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better game than Teenage Mutant Turtles. It was probably the most popular and in-demand game for a while, and they had a stand-alone version in the arcade with long lines of people waiting for their turn. You could play with four people at a time, and the game was straight fire. Years later, the original Ninja Turtles game remains iconic.

4. Nicktoons Unite!

Nicktoons are united! Or Sponge Bob Square Pants and Friends: Unite! In Europe, it’s a potential crossover. Still, it doesn’t live up to expectations. The depiction of the character is decent, but the gameplay is incredibly monotonous. This game is mediocre, but the fact that this game gets three sequels confuses us.

3. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4

Along with Goku and Monkey D. Luffy, Naruto has become one of the most important icons in the anime. Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the last article in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series in terms of cartoon story, and the gameplay is addictive.

2. Ducktales

All hail the almighty Ducktales! Another NES legend, Ducktales, was five different levels of gaming heaven where you could explore the world as Scrooge McDuck.

1. Castle of Illusion, Starring Mickey Mouse

Castle of Illusion was essential to the legacy of the Illusion video game series and the SEGA video game console. This game was well received and did pretty big numbers upon its release. Playing as Mickey Mouse, you had to rescue Minnie from the evil witch. Miserable, but to do so, you had to find the ‘Seven Gems of the Rainbow.’ Illusion beautifully captured the magic of 80s/90s Disney games and paved the way for later releases.
