Resident Evil Welcome to Raccoon City

From the beginning of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. Fans of the game will notice a nod to the world they know and love.

Suppose you’re asked to create a theme park based on something in pop culture. In this case, I recreate the ominous Spencer Mansion and the creepy raccoon police station from the Resident Evil game. If you are giving me a high five now, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is a movie for you. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s not.

About The film

The film has been screened in US and UK cinemas and arrived in Australia on December 1st. 8th; It was written and directed by Johannes Roberts 47 meters down. It provides a reasonably faithful adaptation to the source material. He wisely restarted the film and abandoned the complex continuity of Milla Jovovich’s six biohazard exits. This wasn’t much like a game. In doing so, Roberts created a movie that pleases fans looking for a fun ride full of Easter eggs through the first two games of the 25-year-old survival horror series. However, this movie can confuse and frustrate a larger audience.

Review

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City; games usually have two protagonists, Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine, and brothers Chris and Claire Redfield. It has been recognized as a franchise standard since its inception in 1996. Perhaps to avoid criticism for simply recreating the original Jovovich / Anderson movie, Roberts chose to combine the game’s story into one movie. This is quickly overwhelming because Roberts can’t develop properly without feeling rushed, either by the four protagonists, the various major support players, or the subplot. Claire (Kaya Scodelario, Maze Runner) returns to her childhood home in Raccoon City. To warn Chris (Robbie Amell, Heels) about a potential disaster hidden by Umbrella Corporation. Increase. Chris is sceptical and still resentful that Claire left many years ago.

Conclusion

Resident Evil games have traditionally been survival horror. While there was action, the natural attraction of the game was the horror and horror of jumping when you entered a dark and unfamiliar space. Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. We recognize that what worked very well in early games also works well in movie format.
